A classical finish, obtained by beating the stone surface with
a special tool (the bush-hammer) equipped with small teeth that
give an orange-peel appearance. This solution (as makeshift
as it may seem) actually follows the rules of an uncommon harmony.
Only our stone allows to perform this finish, mainly used for
steps: bush-hammered slate is wear resistant and, most important,
antiskid.
